The photographer

Hello! I’m so glad you’re considering me for your portrait photography session. As a professional photographer for over 15 years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with many people and their pets in Chicagoland and beyond, creating authentic and emotive portraits.

Before I became a pet photographer, I ran a family photography studio in the Chicago Arts District, focusing mainly on maternity, newborn, headshots, and family portraiture. After several years, I took the show on the road and made my studio location-only.

When not photographing pets and their people, I can be found kayaking, taking in my son's baseball games, or spending time with one of my own furry family members, which includes a senior chihuahua and two cats.

My goal is to have fun, but also to deliver a gorgeous set of images to you. Every single time. That’s why I’ve spent countless hours honing the craft of photography, learning how to read and use lighting, and continuing to seek inspiration and new skills.
